
Fifteen Orangewomen Lacrosse Players Named To Honor Roll

Fifteen members of the Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team have been named to the SU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2002 semester. To be recognized, student-athletes must achieve a 3.0-or-higher grade point average.
Seniors Erin MacDonald and Jessica Trombley are both making their sixth appearance on the honor roll. Both student-athletes are also two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Stars. Junior Jacquelyn Walker and sophomores Monica Joines and Alexis Fermanis have all been honored in every semester they have attended Syracuse. It is the fifth appearance for Walker and the third for Joines and Fermanis.
Five other student-athletes are also making a repeat showing on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Senior Kim Wayne made her fourth appearance on the honor roll this semester, while juniors Alile Eldridge and Elia Kochan made their third appearance. Junior Leigh-Ann Zimmer and sophomore Caitlyn Dragon received recognition for the second time.
Five Orangewomen are making their first appearance on the honor roll, including freshmen Helen Dodderidge, Evelyn Long and Stephanie Walker . Junior Danielle Lillis and sophomore Courtney Palladino also made their first appearance on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
The Orangewomen open their 2003 season on Sat., March 1 versus Virginia at noon in the Carrier Dome.
