
Orangemen Add Two More for 2003

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse men's soccer coach Dean Foti has announced that Richard Asante and Dave Chojnowski will play for the Orangemen beginning in 2003.
Asante, a midfielder from North York, Ontario, is currently a senior at Westview Centennial Secondary School and a member of the Under-18 Canadian National Team. Asante was a member of the two-time Ontario Cup championship squad (2000-01, 2001-02) and was named Westview's Athlete of the Year in 2002. He was the Ontario Youth Soccer League Most Valuable Player in 2001.
Chojnowski is a midfielder from Hilton High School in Rochester, N.Y. He scored five goals and had four assists as a senior and recorded 20 goals and 19 assists for his career. Chojnowksi played in the 2002 Empire State Games and was a member of the Rochester Football Club that won the 2002 NYSW state championship. He was a first-team All-Monroe County selection in both his junior and senior seasons.
Asante and Chojnowski join three other players already committed to the Orangemen for next season - Aaron Bonser of Fairport, N.Y., Frank Bruno of Tornoto and Isaac Collings of Oriskany, N.Y.
