SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Syracuse seniors Tim Adrian and Alison Culley finished competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Cal State Sacramento on Thursday, June 12. Adrian competed in the discus, while Culley ran the 200-meter dash.

Culley, the 2003 ECAC champion in the event, just missed advancing to the 200-meter semifinals. She finished fourth in her heat, just seven-hundredths of a second out of third-place and an automatic spot in the next round. She ran a 23.99, placing her 20th in the preliminary round.

Adrian finished his collegiate career in the qualifying round of the discus competition. The senior from Moorpark, Calif. threw 153' 5" to place 25h overall. The top 12 throwers advanced to the finals which will be held on Saturday.
