Men's 5,000-Meter Run | Thursday | Section 1: 4:05 PM, Section 2: 5:45 PM
Connell Alford, Louis Small and Sam Ricchiuti will be the first members of the Orange to run this weekend in section one of the men's 5,000-meter final. Section 2 will run at 5:45 p.m. and feature Peter Walsdorf, Assaf Harari, Connor Ackley and Ben Gabelman.
The second section features the 16 fastest seed times, however Paul O'Donnell won the conference title in 2023 from the first section. Walsdorf enters this year's meet with the Orange's best seed after setting a school record in the event two weeks ago. He ran a time of 13:32.20, which is the fifth-fastest time in the ACC this season. Virginia's Gary Martin enters as the pre-meet favorite, boasting the nation's No. 3 time of 13:05.57.

Syracuse has three runners entered in the first section of the women's 5k, including Emma Eastman, Jayden Harberts and Madeline Heintz. The trio will race at 4:30 p.m. and hope their times hold through the second section later in the evening.
Eastman has the fastest season best from any runner in the first section, posting a time of 16:02.83 earlier this season. Notre Dame's Mary Bonner Dalton (15:11.31) has the nation's 10th-fastest time and enters the meet as the on paper favorite.
Women's 200-Meter Dash | Prelims: Thursday, 5:20 PM | Final: Saturday, 2:20 PM
Indie Wallace-Persaud is the Orange's lone entrant in the 200, racing in the sixth heat of Thursday's prelims. She's one of two freshmen to qualify for the ACC Championships in the 200.
Eight runners will advance to the finals on time, regardless of heat. Florida State's Shenese Walker (22.96) is the fastest in the ACC this season. Wallace-Persaud enters the meet ranked 13th in the field.
Men's Mile | Prelims: Friday, 3:15 PM | Final: Saturday, 12 PM
The men's mile will kickoff Friday's competition. 42 runners will compete across four heats, with the top-two finishers in each heat, plus next-two fastest times advancing to Saturday's final.
Charles Guerrerra (heat 1), Ruben Rojas Betanzos (heat 3) and Drew Zundell (heat 3) are entered for the Orange. Zundell has the best time this season among Syracuse entrants at 3:59.04. His time is third-fastest in his heat, which also features Wake Forest's Paul Specht, who has the best time in the ACC this year at 3:52.95.

Syracuse and NC State are tied for the most entrants in the 60-meter hurdles, with three each. The event will feature two eight-man heats, with the top-two in each heat, plus next-four fastest times advancing to Saturday.
All-three 'Cuse runners will be in the second heat. Jamir Brown owns the fastest time this season among runners in heat two, and ranks second in the conference overall. His time of 7.60 seconds ranks 18th nationally. He'll be joined by Isaiah Hayes and Tawakal Omar.
Florida State's Andre Korbmacher (7.59 seconds) is the only runner in the meet with a better time this season than Brown.

Tia Outlaw (heat 2), Emeline Clark (heat 3), Taleea Buxton (heat 3) and Peyton Rollins (heat 3) are set to compete. Buxton owns the second-fastest seed time in her heat, setting a PR of 8.27 seconds earlier this season. Rollins has the third-best time in the heat at 8.35 seconds. Elijah Mallard, who has set a new school record every time he has competed this season, will race in the fifth of six prelim heats on Friday. The top eight finishers based on time will advance to Saturday's final. Mallard enters the meet with the fourth-best time in the league this season at 46.23 seconds. Miami's Ace Malone (45.43 seconds) is the title favorite on paper, ranking fifth nationally in the event. He'll race in heat six.

Nicea Jones will represent the Orange women in the 400. The format is the same as the men, with six heats and the top-eight advancing on time to the finals. Jones has the10th-fastest time in the field entering the meet at 53.79 seconds, which is also tops among ACC freshmen.
Jones will compete in heat two. Florida State's Kaelyaah Liburd ranks tops in the conference to date, with a time of 51.68 seconds earlier this season. She'll run in heat six.
