SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse men's soccer team will play its third straight ranked opponent when it hosts No. 25 Seton Hall in BIG EAST action at the SU Soccer Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 16. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Dating back to last season, the last 13 games have been decided by one goal. The Orange’s 1-0 loss against 23rd-ranked Hartwick on Wednesday was the squad’s school-record sixth 1-0 loss of the season.

The Pirates are ranked 25th in this week’s NSCAA/adidas Top 25. Seton Hall has won two straight games, both at home. The Pirates are now unbeaten in their last 15 home contests. The road has not been as kind as the squad has lost its last three BIG EAST road games at St. John’s, Pittsburgh and Boston College. Mark Pedreiras has 10 points on four goals and two assists, while Sacha Kljestan has 10 points on two goals and six assists.
