McCallion Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior midfielder and tri-captain Mike McCallion, a member of the Orange soccer team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 20.
McCallion, an accounting major, has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all four semesters. He is also a two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star. McCallion has started four of five games this season and started 16 of 17 last year.
Syracuse travels to Albany on Sept. 22 for a 4 p.m. kickoff with the Great Danes.
