The cross country teams finished 13th at yesterday's NCAA Regional in Boston.

BOSTON, Nov. 12, 2005 – Sophomore Liz Cufari placed 32nd overall to help the women’s cross country team to a 13th place finish out of 38 teams at the NCAA Regionals in Boston, Mass. yesterday. Sophomore Kyle Heath was the top runner for the men in 43rd as they finished 13th out of 37.
Cufari finished the course with a time of 21:50.4 while Heath finished at 31:26.5. Junior Matt Lawson finished 57th overall at 31:45.1, while junior David Wishart placed 74th with a time of 31:59.2. Sophomore Matthew Gervasio (33:19.0) and senior Timothy Scarpinato (33:22.3) rounded out the top five for the men.
On the women’s side, following Cufari was freshman Nana Sang-Bender who finished 47th with a time of 22:12.2. Sophomore Meghan Rowcliffe was third on the team and finished 84th overall at 22:49.6. Junior Katie Simon (23:12.2) and sophomore Kathleen Sanborn (23:24.2) rounded out the top five for the women’s team.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, the cross country teams compete in the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Bronx, N.Y.
