Victoria Vaynberg and Catherine Zawadzki will look to continue their stellar play when the season resumes on Feb. 4 at Brown.

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Syracuse University women’s tennis doubles team of Victoria Vaynberg (Princeton, N.J.) and Catherine Zawadzki (Brooklyn, N.Y.) are ranked 11^th in the East Region in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released Friday.

The tandem played to a 10-3 record during the fall portion of the season including a first place finish at the Yale Invitational to start the season. At the Hampton Roads Invitational, Vaynberg/Zawadzki played to a third place finish. The team capped off its fall season with a quarterfinal run at the ITA Fall Indoor East Regional, losing to a nationally ranked pairing of Baker/But from Maryland, 8-6.

Syracuse will resume play when it opens its spring season at Brown on Feb. 4^th.
