SU Tennis Hosts Seton Hall on Friday

The Orange (5-1, 1-0) is seeking its best start since Mac Gifford became the head coach. The Orange also began the 1999-2000 season, Gifford's first year at the helm of the SU program, 5-1.
Freshman Victoria Vaynberg is 6-0 in singles this spring. She has a 4-0 record at No. 1 singles and 2-0 when playing at the No. 2 position. Sophomore Ashley Lipton is 5-1 in singles during the dual season, including a 1-0 record at the No. 1 position and 4-1 record at No. 3.
All three of Syracuse's doubles team have a winning record during the dual season. Sophomore Katie Bramante and junior Wei-Ming Leong are 5-1 this spring at the No. 2 position, while Vaynberg and freshman Catherine Zawadzki are 4-2 at No. 1 and Lipton and sophomore Carolina Huignard are also 4-2 at the No. 3 spot.
