LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – The Syracuse tennis team suffered its second-straight loss on its spring break trip to Loyola Marymount, 6-1, on Tuesday afternoon. Syracuse is now 8-5.
Syracuse’s one point of the match came from a singles victory at the No. 2 position. Freshman Catherine Zawadzki defeated Tamara Tanner, 6-4, 6-4.
The Orange also earned a victory at the No. 3 doubles spot, as sophomore duo Ashley Lipton and Carolina Huignard defeated Robyn Baker and Sanchez, 8-1.
The Orange remains in California to face Fresno State on Thursday, Mar. 17.
