Syracuse will wrap up its fall season next Saturday, hosting the Syracuse Invitational.
Princeton, N.J. – The Syracuse women’s rowing crew competed in rough conditions at the Princeton Chase. The Syracuse ‘A’ crew placed 18th of 54 boats in the open eight race and the Syracuse ‘B’ crew did not finish. The open four race was cancelled.
Syracuse finished in a time of 16:58.05, ahead of all other BIG EAST competition. Rutgers, Villanova and Georgetown also competed in the chase. Rutgers was SU’s closest competition, placing 29th. Virginia won the race in 15:50.93. Yale finished second (16:07.62) while host Princeton placed third (16:08.12).
