Orange head football coach Greg Robinson has 23 student-athletes in the 2006 National Letter of Intent class. Robinson hosted a press conference at 4:00 p.m. today. View the archive on Orange All Access.
The 2006 class includes Calvert Hall College quarterback Andrew Robinson, running backs Delone Carter, who was named 2005 Mr. Ohio Football, and Derrell Smith, offensive linemen Tucker Baumbach, Ryan Bartholomew, Ian Hammond, James McKenzie, Larry Norton, Anthony Perkins, Jonathan Meldrum and Adam Rosner, wide receivers Andrey Baskin, Daniel Sheeran, Taj Smith and Michael Williams, tight end Lou Falzone, defensive lineman Jared Kimmel and Andrew Lewis, linebackers Parker Cantey and Jermaine Pierce, and defensive backs Derek Hrinya, Matt Reid and Nico Scott. Hammond, Lewis, Perkins, Rosner and Smith are currently enrolled in classes at Syracuse.
The 2006 Syracuse team will begin Spring practice on Monday, March 20. The annual Spring game is set for Saturday, April 15.
