Scull Leads Orange at Stanford Invitational

Palo Alto, Calif. - Sophomore Jeff Scull led a group of four student-athletes competing at the Stanford Invitational. Scull competed in the 5,000m run and qualified for the NCAA Regional.
Scull finished sixth in the event, posting a time of 4:11.31. In addition to qualifying for the NCAA Regional, Scull also earned a spot in the IC4A and BIG EAST Championship. Freshman Jay Koloseus also qualified for the IC4A and BIG EAST Championships. He finished 11th in the event with a mark of 14:33.86.
Sophomore Nana Sang-Bender led the Orange women at the Stanford Invitational. Sang-Bender placed seventh in the 1,500m run with a mark of 4:29.13. Her time qualified her for both the ECAC and BIG EAST Championships. Freshman Maegan Krifchin finished 65th in the event, with a time of 4:41.59.
The Orange are back in action on April 7, competing at the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, N.J.
