Orange Sport Spotlight - April 9

Five Syracuse teams competed during the week of April 2 - April 8. The Orange recorded wins on the water, softball diamond, tennis courts and track.
Women's Lacrosse (6-4, 2-1 BIG EAST)
The Orange did not compete last week and returns to action on Wednesday in search of the program's 100th victory.

Women's Rowing
The women's rowing team competed at the Orange Challenge Cup, hosted by Penn. Syracuse won the second varsity 4 race and finished third in the varsity 8 race.

Softball (14-24, 5-5 BIG EAST)
The Orange softball team swept two series last week. Syracuse opened its home schedule with two wins against Bighamton and then swept Pittsburgh in BIG EAST play.

The tennis team ended its regular season winning its last two matches. The Orange defeated Seton Hall, 5-2, and swept DePaul, 7-0.
