
Orange NLI Class Grows to 22 (as of 12:10 p.m.)

The 2008 Orange football National Letter of Intent signing class is 22 strong and includes players from 10 states and Washington, D.C. Cornerback Tyrell Harris, offensive lineman Michael Kay and linebacker Romale Tucker are the most recent additions to the class. The entire group also includes defensive ends Mikhail Marinovich, Cory Boatman and Dan Vaughan, defensive tackle Jarel Lowrey, wide receivers Van Chew, Trey Fairchild and DeAndre Preaster, running backs Averin Collier and Jeremiah Harden, defensive backs Dorian Graham and Grant Mayes, offensive linemen Ian Allport and Nick Lepak, quarterback Ryan Nassib, linebacker Shane Kimmel h-back Carl Cutler, tight end David Stevens, athlete Antwon Bailey and kicker Austin Wallis.
Orange football fans are invited to join the unveiling of the 2008 National Letter of Intent signing class in two ways -- via Orange All Access and at the Carrier Dome Wednesday night.
Head coach Greg Robinson's press conference to introduce the class will be webcast live and for free on Orange All Access at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
At the Carrier Dome, Robinson will host a presentation of the class at 6:00 p.m. in the backcourt prior to the Orange men’s basketball game against Connecticut. Fans with tickets to the men’s basketball game are invited to enter the Dome when the gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available online (click here) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOMETIX).
SU fans can get a sneak peek at the Orange recruiting class throughout the day on suathletics.com. Profiles will be posted as the prospective student-athletes submit their NLIs to the University.
The 2008 Orange begin Spring practice on March 19. The annual Spring game is set for Saturday, April 19 in the Carrier Dome.
