TAMPA, Fla. – Senior Jillian Drouin is featured in this week’s edition of “Faces In The Crowd”, published by Sports Illustrated on Monday, March 17. Syracuse fans can also catch Drouin’s profile via SI.com by clicking here.
Drouin captured the pentathlon crown at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship with a school-record and Armory Track (New York, N.Y.) Open standard 4,099 points. She earned all-conference distinction in the jump high with a second-place tally of 1.80m.
At the ECAC Championship on March 9, Drouin matched the Orange school record, established by Diane Phillips in 1987, in the high jump with a height of 1.82m. She finished 17th at the NCAA Championship on March 14.
Drouin claimed All-America honors in 2007 after a third-place performance in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championship.
Drouin was named a Syracuse University Women of Distinction on March 3 and is a 2007-08 Remembrance Scholar.
