Second Soccer Fan Club Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday

The second meeting of the Orange Soccer Fan Club has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. in the Manley Field House arena. The meeting is open to all Syracuse University students with a passion for Orange soccer.
Members of the team and coaching staff will be on hand to greet the crowd. Free pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
The student spirit group met prior to the 2008 season and was intrumental in helping draw 1,257 fans to the SU Soccer Stadium for the team's season opener against Canisius. It was the second-largest crowd ever for a men's match at the facility and largest for a home opener since the SU Soccer Stadium opened in 1996.
Syracuse returns home for a 7 p.m. match against Monmouth on Thursday, Sept. 11. Admission is free. Students are encouraged to come out support the Orange for this exciting non-conference match!
