Lynch Receives Invite to U23 Camp

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior Katie Lynch, a member of the Syracuse women's rowing team, has been invited to the U23 Lightweight Women's Sculling Camp. Lynch is one of 12 student-athletes from 11 universities across the country to receive an invitation.
The U23 Lightweight Women's Sculling Camp will select a BLW2x, BLW4x and a BLW1x to compete at the U23 World Championship Trials July 6-10 on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The rowers will compete for the opportunity to race in Racice, Czech Republic July 23-26 at the U23 World Championship.
The North Tonawanda, N.Y. native sat bow in the varsity eight at the BIG EAST Championship this season where the Orange finished fourth. In her three years on the Syracuse team, Lynch has consistently rowed in the varsity eight boat and has also rowed in the open eight boat, as well.
