Orange women's basketball coach Quentin Hillsman is connecting with Syracuse fans, alumni and supports via Twitter. Hillsman started a Twitter page on Friday and already has 29 followers. Syracuse finished the 2008-09 season 17-15 and posted back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1989-90. Syracuse also defeated a ranked opponent for the second straight year when it hosted No. 16/17 Rutgers. Coach Hillsman led the team to postseason play when it competed in the WNIT. The win against Canisius marked the first postseason win in its 38-year history.
The Orange welcomes back four of its starters as it already gears-up for the 2009-10 campaign.
