SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will compete in three tournaments and take on 2008 national finalist North Carolina during its fall season. The Orange is in action for the first on Sunday, Sept. 27 when it hosts six Central New York teams.

Syracuse welcomes Binghamton, Buffalo, Canisius, Colgate, Cortland and LeMoyne to its fall tournament before traveling to Ithaca for the Cornell Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 3. Syracuse competes at the Princeton Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 17, where it will face 2009 semifinalist Pennsylvania, Princeton, a quarterfinalist last season, and North Carolina. The fall season concludes on Sunday, Oct. 18 when Syracuse faces the Tar Heels at Radnor High School at Noon.

The Orange finished the 2009 campaign with a 14-5 record and tied for the BIG EAST regular-season title. Syracuse earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where it advanced to the quarterfinals for the third consecutive year.
