SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Eighth-ranked Syracuse puts its two-game winning streak on the line Sunday when its hosts five-time defending national champion and No. 1-ranked Northwestern at 1 p.m. at Christian Brothers Academy. The Orange enters the contest with a record of 4-1, while the Wildcats, which have won 34 consecutive games, are 5-0 this season.

THE SERIES
Sunday's game marks the eighth meeting between Syracuse and Northwestern in women's lacrosse. The Wildcats hold a 6-1 lead in the all-time series.
ORANGE AGAINST NO. 1
Syracuse has never beaten a team ranked No. 1 in the nation. The Orange has played the top-ranked squad 11 times in the program's history, including five meetings in the Carrier Dome.
DOVE REACHES SCORING MILESTONE
Senior Christina Dove established a new career high with nine points (6g, 3a) against Towson. Her six goals increased her career total 202, making her just the second player in school history to score 200 career goals. Dove ranks second on Syracuse's career leader lists for points (264) and goals (202).
