BOSTON, Mass. – Eighth-ranked Syracuse looks to continue its winning ways when it plays at No. 18 Boston University at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Boston, Mass. The Orange enters the game with an overall record of 5-3, 1-0 in BIG EAST Conference play, while the Terriers are 5-5 overall, 1-0 in America East Conference action.

THE SERIES
Today's game marks the ninth meeting between Syracuse and Boston University in women's lacrosse. The Orange holds an 7-1 lead in the all-time series, which has featured five games that have been decided by one goal.
LENDING A HELPING HAND
Syracuse has scored a total of 122 goals this season, 18 of which have come on free position attempts. The Orange recorded an assist on 68 of the remaining 104 goals, or on 65 percent of its goals not scored via a free position.
HOGAN HITTING HER STRIDE
Junior goalkeeper Liz Hogan reached double figures in saves in three of her last four games. Against Towson, Hogan tied her career high with 14 saves. She followed that performance with an 11-saves effort against No. 1 Northwestern. Hogan limited the Wildcats to 13 goals, more than five goals below its 18.2 goals-per-game average. For her efforts, Hogan was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Hogan made 13 saves against Rutgers, helping the Orange to a victory in its BIG EAST opener.
