BOSTON – The Syracuse University women's rowing team returns to the water tomorrow against Radcliffe and No. 16 Dartmouth for the O'Leary Cup. Racing on the Charles River begins at 9:36 a.m. with the varsity eight.
The Orange will also battle the Black and White and Big Green in four other races, including the second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity four and third varsity eight.
The O'Leary Cup is named in honor of Harvard head coach Elizabeth O'Leary and presented to the winner of the Harvard – Dartmouth – Syracuse race. Harvard has won six (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009) of the 10 cups, including the last two. Syracuse won the cup in 2001.
