
Four Earn All-America Honors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Christina Dove and junior Liz Hogan have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America First Team. In addition, senior Halley Quillinan was selected to the second team, and junior Tee Ladouceur was a third-team selection. It marks the second time in school history that Syracuse has placed two players on the All-America First Team and had four honorees.
Dove makes her first appearance on the All-America First Team after earning second-team honors the past two seasons. Dove led the Orange in scoring and ranked fourth in the nation with 97 points in 2010. She also finished fourth in the nation in goals (69), 11th in goals per game (3.14) and 12th in points per game (4.41). Dove, who is the 23rd Division I player to record 300 career points, ends her career tied for ninth on the NCAA Division I career goals scored list (250) and 11th in career points (335). Dove is Syracuse's all-time leader in goals and ranks second in points. She earned the 2010 BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year award for the second consecutive year and was a unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST First Team.
Hogan becomes the first goalkeeper in school history to earn All-America accolades. She led the nation in saves (211) and ranked second in save percentage (.525). Hogan, the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year and unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST First Team, reached double figures in saves in nine of Syracuse's final 15 games. She set single-season records for saves and ground balls (64) in 2010 and became the career leader in both categories. Hogan enters her senior season with 518 saves and 152 ground balls.
Quillinan is the first four-time All-America selection in program history. She registered 60 points on 49 goals and 11 assists this season. She led the team in caused turnovers (34) and draw controls (48) and was second in ground balls (37). Quillinan, a second-team All-BIG EAST honoree, finished her career ranked third on both Syracuse's all-time scoring (246) and goals scored (207) lists.
Ladouceur finished second on the team in scoring with a career-best 91 points, which is the fifth-highest single-season total in school history. She becomes just the third player in school history to record 90 or more points in a season. In addition, Ladouceur dished out 48 assists, which ranks third on Syracuse's single-season record list. Her 43 goals were also a personal best. Ladouceur was selected to the All-BIG EAST Second Team this season.
Syracuse posted a 15-7 record this season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals for the second time in the past three years. The Orange's 15 wins are the second-highest single-season total in school history.
