
SU Facesoff Against Robert Morris

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's ice hockey team will travel to Moon Township, Pa. to take on CHA foe Robert Morris in a two game series on Feb. 18 and 19. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. on Friday and again on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Island Sports Center.
The Robert Morris Series
The Orange leads the all-time series with the Colonials, 5-4-1. Syracuse gained an advantage in the series with two victories against RMU earlier this season, 5-2 and 3-1. Robert Morris won the first three meetings between the two teams, but SU has taken five out of the last six matchups.
Scouting Robert Morris
Robert Morris overcame a six game losing streak with a 1-0-2 record in its last three outings, including a win and a tie at Wayne State last weekend. The Colonials are led by senior forward Sara O'Malley who has a team-best 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists. Freshman forward Thea Imbrogno is tied for second on the team with nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points. She has been named CHA Rookie of the Week on five occasions this season. Sophomore goaltender Kristen DiCiocco has a goals-against-average of 2.97 and a saves percentage of .885. Robert Morris is averaging 2.03 goals per game, while giving up 4.03 to its opponents.
A Look at the Orange
Syracuse is led by sophomore forward Isabel Menard's 15 goals and 19 assists. Sophomore Holly Carrie-Mattimoe and freshman Margot Scharfe each tallied a goal and an assist in SU's last outing versus No. 5 Mercyhurst. Freshman goaltender Kallie Billadeau owns a goals-against-average of 3.12 and a saves percentage of .901. She made 80 saves in the Mercyhurst series last weekend to bring her season total to 463.
