Kalhorn Is BIG EAST Player Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Simone Kalhorn of the Syracuse University women's tennis team was named BIG EAST Player of the Week on March 30 after going 8-0 during last week's competition.
Kalhorn helped the Orange to a 3-1 week, including a 2-1 record in BIG EAST play. The Colorado Springs, Colo. native registered four wins in both singles and doubles play. She surpassed the 100-win mark in her career and now has an overall career record of 102-72, including a 24-10 record this season.
Last week, Kalhorn and doubles partner Aleah Marrow combined for four consecutive wins at the second doubles position. She also defeated all four singles opponents to extend her win streak to six matches at the fourth and fifth singles positions.
Kalhorn and the Orange will continue their six game road swing when they face No. 49 William and Mary on Saturday April 2 at 11 a.m. and Old Dominion on April 3 at 9 a.m.
