Erica Morrow ended her career as Syracuse's all-time leader in minutes played with 4,163. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native is second on SU's all-time scoring chart with 1,658 points. Morrow also ranks second in games played and started with 130. Morrow is ranked in the top 10 on 12 other career lists. She ends the year leading the team in steals (2.0) and minutes played (31.6). She is also second on the squad in assists (3.2) and fourth in points (10.1). She also made (50) and attempted (141) a team-high number of 3-pointers.
The first McDonald's All-American in program history led team in steals was second on the squad in assists and third in points her senior year. Against 6/6 Ohio State, Morrow scored a season-best 27 points on season-best 10 made field goals. She was a preseason All-BIG EAST Honorable mention and was selected to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team for two consecutive seasons.
At the completion of her junior year, Morrow was first on the squad with 80 steals and second on the team in points per game (11.7) and assists (118). She had a commendable performance at the WNIT Tournament where the team went 3-1. In the second game in the Thanksgiving Cancun Classic, Morrow matched a career-best 29 points and made a season-best 10 field goals against Butler. She was named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Most Outstanding Player of The Classic for her performance. Also, Morrow was selected to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Concluding her sophomore year, Morrow was fifth in the BIG EAST with 2.4 steals per game, connected on 2.0 3-pointers per game, which was best on the team and ranked eighth in the conference. She was in the top 20 in league scoring and second on the team with 15.7 points per game. During the regular season she scored a career-high 29 points and matched a season-high with five 3-pointers in 35 minutes against Georgetown and tallied a game-high 21 points against Princeton. Morrow earned a place on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll twice and selected to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
In her first year with the program, Morrow was named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman squad, was second on the team with 13.9 points per game, second with 3.6 assists per outing, and finished in the top-20 in scoring in the BIG EAST. She also had 64 steals, which was first on the team and fifth in the conference. In a 68-67 victory against Georgetown, she scored 22 points and drained the game-winning 3-pointer. Morrow was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, and was BIG EAST Freshman of the Week twice.
Morrow entered the program as the No. 29 prospect in the country by Blue Star Basketball and No. 40 by All-Star Girls Report. During her high school career she was a McDonald's All-American, WBCA All-American, and Parade All-American. She averaged 24 points, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals for Murry Bergtraum HS and scored 17 points in her last high school game to lead the Lady Blazers to the girls Class AA State Federation title.
