LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Chloe Hunnable's goal with 16 seconds left lifted No. 5 Connecticut (18-2) to a 4-3 victory over No. 3 Syracuse (17-2) in the BIG EAST Championship on Sunday at Trager Stadium. The top-seeded Orange took a 3-1 lead early in the second half, but the Huskies scored the game's final three goals to complete the comeback and defeat the conference's regular season champion.

Hunnable scored her first of two goals in the 47th minute off an assist from Marie Elena Bolles to pull UConn within one and Katherine Baker tied the game in the 51st minute off the rebound of a penalty corner shot.

Bolles set up Hunnable's game-winner with a pass from the right side of the cage that gave the Huskies their first lead with 16 seconds to go.

After Erin Koonz tied the game in the 21st minute, Hahnefeldt gave Syracuse the 2-1 halftime lead when she scored off another penalty corner with 1:12 left on the clock. Jordan Page assisted on both of the junior back's goals.

McInerney netted her sixth goal of the season just 2:52 into the second half, giving Syracuse a 3-1 lead. The graduate student midfielder deposited the rebound of a Hahnefeldt shot past UConn goalie Sarah Mansfield.

Leann Stiver made three saves in the game for Syracuse while Mansfield stopped six Orange shots. For the game, Syracuse held an 11-8 shot advantage and a 6-3 edge in penalty corners.
