Murray Earns BIG EAST Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Syracuse sophomore Alyssa Murray has been named to the BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll for her performance in two games last week. Murray tallied 13 points on nine goals and four assists, helping Syracuse to a 1-1 record.
Murray set a single-game school record with eight goals in the Orange's 23-12 victory against No. 13/8 Boston College. She also had two assists for 10 points, which tie her for fourth on SU's single-game record list. Against No. 10/6 Virginia, Murray had one goal and two assists.
This season, Murray leads the team in points (13), goals (9) and assists (4). In addition, she has two ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover.
Murray and the No. 12/11 Orange are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 29 when they host No. 1/1 Northwestern at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Admission is free of charge.
