Women's Crew Readies For Spring Racing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse women's rowing begins its 2012 spring racing season when it heads to Clemson, S.C. next week to race against six other crews on March 18.
After the fall season concluded with an impressive performance at the Foot of the Charles on Nov. 12, the Orange has been hard at work with indoor training throughout the winter, as well as a training trip to Florida in January, before recently returning to the waters of the Onondaga Lake Outlet.
Justin Moore's team returns North to host regattas at the James A. Ten Eyck Boathouse on March 31 against Boston University, Cornell and Rutgers and on April 7 against Northeastern and Penn.
After Charles River Challenge (April 14) and BIG EAST Dual Double (April 28), SU will compete at the BIG EAST Championship on May 12-13 in Mercer, N.J.
