SU Moves Up In National Polls

Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Poll | USILA Poll
BALTIMORE – The Syracuse men's lacrosse team climbed four spots in the USILA Coaches' Poll and moved up three places in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Media Poll following Saturday's win over Princeton. Syracuse is 13th in this week's coaches' rankings and 14th in the latest media poll, both released Monday, April 9.
Syracuse garnered 82 points in the USILA rankings and 179 points in the media poll. Last week, the Orange was 17th in both sets of rankings.
The top seven teams in both polls is the same with Virginia holding onto the top spot for the second straight week. The Cavaliers are followed by Massachusetts, Johns Hopkins, Loyola and Cornell to round out the top five.
Syracuse returns to action Tuesday, April 10 when it faces the fifth-ranked Big Red at 7 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field. The game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable Sports.
