SYRACUSE, N.Y.—The Orange is on the road for the last time, traveling to Florida State to round out its regular season travel schedule. Syracuse and the Seminoles kickoff at 3:30 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 16.

GAME OVERVIEW
• Syracuse hits the road for the fourth time in the last five outings when it faces ACC Atlantic Division champion Florida State Saturday, Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
• The game will be broadcast on ABC regionally and on ESPN2 nationally. Mike Patrick (pxp), Ed Cunningham (analyst) and Jeannine Edwards (sidelines) have the call.
• Syracuse climbed above .500 for the first time this season with a 20-3 win at Maryland last week. The Orange is trying to become bowl eligible for the third time in four seasons with a victory at Florida State Saturday.
• The Seminoles are 9-0 and rank second in the most recent BCS standings. They own an 11-game winning streak dating back to last season. Their last loss was a 37-26 defeat at the hands of Florida on Nov. 24, 2012

THE FLORIDA STATE SERIES
• Saturday's game marks SU's third trip to Doak Campbell Stadium.
• FSU holds a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series, including a 2-0 edge in Tallahassee.
• Syracuse won the first-ever pairing between the two teams, 37-21, at Archbold Stadium in 1966. Hall-of-Famers Floyd Little and Larry Csonka combined for four of the Orange's five touchdowns, with Little scoring three times and Csonka once. Little carried 20 times for a game-high 193 yards. Csonka added 65 yards on 17 attempts.
• The Seminoles have won the last five meetings, including a 38-14 victory in 2005 in the most recent matchup.

A WIN AGAINST FLORIDA STATE WILL…
• Be SU's 704th all-time victory, the 16th-most among FBS schools.
• Make the Orange bowl eligible for the third time in four years.
• Extend SU's winning streak to three games.
• Improve the Orange's ACC road record to 3-1.
• End Florida State's five-game series winning streak.
• Increase SU's record to 4-1 against the ACC Atlantic Division.
• Snap FSU's 11-game winning streak as well as its 13-game ACC winning streak.
• Be the Orange's first win against a team ranked in the top five of the AP poll since a 22-14 road win at No. 5 Virginia Tech in 2001.

LAST TIME VS.. FLORIDA STATE
• The Seminoles scored the game's first 24 points and went on to defeat Syracuse, 38-14, at Doak Campbell Stadium on Oct. 1, 2005.
• QB Perry Patterson accounted for both SU touchdowns. He scored on a two-yard run and threw a 30-yard TD pass to Nick Chestnut.
• RB Damien Rhodes accounted for 114 all-purpose yards, including 70 yards receiving on four catches.
• Drew Weatherford passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Seminoles. Weatherford also scored on a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
