SYRACUSE, N.Y.--The Syracuse ice hockey team will play its first game in the Onondaga War Memorial since the 2008-09 season, taking on Colgate at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Admission is free to the public.

The Orange will play two more times at the downtown Syracuse location, facing No. 3 Cornell on Dec. 3 and St. Lawrence on Feb. 4.

SCOUTING COLGATE

• The Raiders are 3-11-0 on the season and 1-7 in the ECAC and are currently on a three-game losing streak. Colgate's wins came against Connecticut, Union and fellow CHA member Rochester Institute of Technology.

• As a team, Colgate has scored just 17 goals in 14 contests and has allowed 42 for a goals against average of 2.98. On average, the Raiders have only been able to score 1.20 goals per game.

• Miriam Drubel leads the team in points with nine on the season off of five goals and four assists. Jocelyn Simpson has five points on the season off three goals and two assists. Drubel and Simpson account for 47 percent of all goals scored for Colgate.

• Three goalies have split time in net this season, with Susan Allen playing the most minutes, acting as the main relief goalie. She has started in four games and played in seven, recording a 2.41 GAA, the lowest on the team, and a .914 save percentage.

• Brittney Brooks and Ashlynne Rando have both started in five games so far this season. Brooks has a 2.46 GAA and a .915 save percentage, the highest on the team. Rando has a 4.12 goals against average and a .881 save percentage.

• The Raiders special teams unit has scored just five power play goals this season and has allowed 10. They have also allowed two shorthanded goals. They are effective on special teams just 41.4 percent of the time, the fourth worst mark in Division I hockey.

LAST WEEKEND VS. THE COLONIALS

• For its second weekend in a row, the Orange tied and then loss against its opponent, this time at home against Robert Morris.

• Syracuse tied against the Colonials (12-3-1) on Friday night, 1-1. SU scored first in the game when Nicole Ferrara notched the first shorthanded goal of the season, unassisted, to take a 1-0 lead early in the second period but RMU would tie it up before the second was over and the two tied in overtime.

• The Orange again took a 1-0 lead off a Nicole Ferrara shot in the second period on Saturday afternoon but RMU tied it just 28 seconds later and then scored a goal late in the third period to win it.

• Nicole Ferrara was the only Orange to score multiple points on the weekend, notching goals in both games. Akane Hosoyamada and Danielle Leslie each had an assist on the weekend.

• The Orange moved to a .500 record by the end of the weekend (6-6-2) and are currently in fourth place in the CHA with six points, one point behind Mercyhurst and seven points behind first-ranked Robert Morris.

HOME SWEET HOME

• This Tuesday will mark its first home contest played at the Onondaga War Memorial since the program's inaugural 2008-09 season.

• All-time, Syracuse is 36-38-6 at Tennity and 1-1-0 at the Onondaga War Memorial, which adds up to a .488 winning percentage.

• So far this season Syracuse has a 2-2-1 record at home, defeating No. 4/3 Boston College and Union and losing in close matches with No. 3 Clarkson and RV Robert Morris. They also tied against RMU.

• The Orange tallied a 10-8-0 overall record in Syracuse last season, including a 6-4-0 conference record at Tennity Ice Pavilion.

• SU has had a winning home record just three times in program history, going 6-5-1 in 2008-09 and 9-8-3 in 2010-11.

READY FOR THEIR CLOSE UP

• Syracuse will have two home games televised this season for the first time in program history. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will be broadcasting the Colgate and Cornell games being played at the War Memorial.

• Every home game and road CHA game is streamed live online on AmericaOneSports.com.

• In total, TWCS has agreed to air seven games involving College Hockey America teams. The Rochester Institute of Technology will host five TV games including two against Syracuse.

A DIFFERENT HOME ICE

• Syracuse will play three home contests at the Onondaga War Memorial in downtown Syracuse this season.

• SU will face Colgate on Nov. 26, Cornell on Dec. 3 and St. Lawrence on Feb. 14.

• The Orange has played two contests at the War Memorial, both in the program's first season in 2008-09, going 1-1 against Mercyhurst (L, 1-4) and St. Anselm (W, 4-1).
