Women's Lacrosse to Host Coaches Clinic

SYRACUSE, N.Y.— Lacrosse coaches from all levels are invited to a clinic on Saturday, Oct. 19 put on by Syracuse women's lacrosse head coach Gary Gait and the Orange coaching staff. Gait and assistant coaches Regy Thorpe and Katie Rowan led Syracuse to another impressive season in 2013, which included a conference regular-season and tournament titles and a trip to the Final Four.
All coaches from the varsity, JV, modified and youth levels are welcome to participate in the clinic, which runs from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. During the clinic, coaches will have the chance to learn skills and drills to develop success for their teams.
The clinic is divided into three sessions with each Syracuse coach focusing on specific components of the game. Coach Gait will conduct offensive and attacking drills, while Coach Thorpe will conduct defensive drills. Coach Rowan will demonstrate the skills needed to develop success during "the ride."
The admission for each coach is $20.
