CORAL GABLES, Fla. --Â No. 2/2 Syracuse goes for its 19th consecutive victory when it takes the court at Miami on Saturday, Jan. 25. Game time in Coral Gables is set for 1 p.m. The Orange will try to equal the second-best start in school history.

What to Watch For -- Syracuse (18-0, 5-0)
1. Syracuse is one of three Division I teams that remain unbeaten this season. The other two are Arizona and Wichita State.
2. The Orange would equal its second-best start in the program's history with a victory against the Hurricanes. Syracuse has started the season with 18 consecutive victories for the fourth time in school history. The Orange posted 19 consecutive wins at the beginning of the 1999-2000 campaign. The 2011-12 Orange recorded SU's best start, opening the season with 20 consecutive victories.
3. C.J. Fair and Tyler Ennis have gained national attention for their play this season. Both were named to the Wooden Award and Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch Lists earlier this week. Fair leads the team in scoring, averaging 16.8 points per game. Ennis has dished out 99 assists and recorded 48 steals, both of which rank first on the team.

What to Watch For -- Miami (10-8, 2-4)
1. The Hurricanes have split their last six games, giving them a 10-8 record and a 2-8 mark in ACC play. In its most recent outing, Miami lost to Duke, 67-46.
2. Rion Brown leads the Hurricanes in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game. Donnavan Kirk also averages double figures in scoring, adding 10.0 points per game. Kirk also leads Miami with 37 blocked shots, which tie him for fourth in the ACC.
3. The Hurricanes are the lowest-scoring team in the ACC, averaging 61.5 points per contest. They rank fourth in the league in scoring defense, allowing 59.0 points per game. The Orange is tied for seventh in the ACC in scoring (72.0 ppg.) and is third in scoring defense (58.2 ppg.).
THE SERIES
Syracuse and Miami will meet for the second time this season and the 21st time all-time on Saturday. The Orange leads the all-time series, 15-5. The teams met at least once a year from 1992 through 2004 except one while both were members of The BIG EAST Conference.
In the first meeting this season, C.J. Fair tallied 15 points to lead Syracuse to a 49-44 victory in SU's ACC debut. Trevor Cooney added 11 points, while Tyler Ennis finished with 10 points.
