GREENSBORO, N.C.—The Syracuse track and field team finished competition at the 2014 ACC Indoor Championships on Saturday evening. The women's team finished in a tie for 10th place with Virginia, capturing 32 points on the weekend while the men's squad took 12th place with 17 points.

Donald Pollitt and Freddie Crittenden started off the day by earning 10 points in the 60-meter hurdles final. Pollitt finished in third place with a time of 7.82 to earn a spot on the All-ACC team and Crittenden took fifth in 7.88 seconds.

Shaina Harrison had the highest finish of any Orange, taking second place in the 60-meter dash with a personal record time of 7.37, just four-hundredths of a second short of the school record, earning her a spot on the All-ACC team. Jaquan Holland finished in eighth place (6.91) in the same event to add one point to the men's tally.

Sydney Leiher continued the success with a fifth place finish in the women's mile (4:45.76) for four points. Her time became a personal record, besting her previous fastest time set in the preliminary round.

Rebecca Robinson narrowly missed earning points for the women's team in the 400-meter dash, finishing in ninth place (55.45).

Sarah Pagano, who finished in fourth place in the 5,000-meter run on Friday night, scored for the women's team again in the 3,000-meter run with a fifth place finish in 9:29.42. Margo Malone also earned points in both events, taking seventh place in the 3,000-meter run (9:30.33) after her seventh place finish in the 5,000-meter run on Friday night.

Freshman Regine Hunter rounded out Syracuse point scorers with her sixth place finish in the triple jump, leaping 12.48 meters for three points.
