GREENSBORO, N.C. -Â Coming off a 63-53 win over Clemson in its first-ever ACC Tournament game, fifth-seeded Syracuse women's basketball (22-8 faces No. 14/17 and fourth-seeded NC State (24-6) in the quarterfinals on Friday at noon at the Greensboro Coliseum.
• Originally scheduled for 11 a.m., the game was moved back an hour to a noon tip-off due to the threat of inclement weather in the Greensboro area.

GAME COVERAGE
• The game will be televised on the ACC Regional Sports Network and can be watched online at ESPN3.com and on the WatchESPN app. Locally, the game will air on MSG Plus.
• All Syracuse games can be heard live on the Orange's flagship station, ESPN 97.7/100.7 FM, 1200 AM, and on Cuse.com with Brian Higgins '04 on the call. The game will also air on WJPZ 89.1 FM.

GREENSBORO GOES ORANGE
• The Orange makes its ACC Tournament debut in 2014 as the No. 5 seed in the 15-team tournament after going 10-6 in its first season in the league. It finished tied for fifth with North Carolina, but got the nod by virtue of its 78-73 win over the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on Jan. 30.
• No. 4 seed NC State will be playing its first game of the tournament after receiving a double-bye. SU lost a tight game in Raleigh to the Wolfpack, 67-61, in the ACC opener on Jan. 5.
• A potential semifinal game against the Notre Dame/Miami/Florida State winner would be Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESNU. The championship is Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

AN ORANGE WIN WOULD...
• ...be its second ACC Tournament victory and mark the fifth time SU has won multiple confernce tournament games.
• ...give SU 23 or more wins for the fifth time in program history and the fourth time in the last five seasons.
• ...put SU in its conference tournament semifinals for the second year in a row. It beat Villanova in the BIG EAST quarters last season before losing to UConn in the semifinals.

PEAKING AT THE RIGHT TIME
• Syracuse has picked the right time of year to be on a roll, winning of five in a row. The Orange has not just been winning, but winning big, outscoring its last five opponents by an average of 19.2 points.
• SU's defense has been suffocating, forcing an average of 18.0 turnovers and recording 10.0 steals in the five games, while holding its opponents to 46.7 points per game.
LAST TIME OUT
• Behind its most balanced scoring effort of the season, Syracuse won its first-ever ACC Tournament game, 63-53, vs. Clemson (13-19) on Thursday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
• After being held scoreless in the first half, Syracuse leading scorers Brittney Sykes (17.1 ppg) and Brianna Butler (15.0 ppg) combined for 19 of the team's 33 second-half points to lead the Orange to victory. That came after SU scored 18 of its 30 points off the bench in the first half, led by La'Shay Taft's three 3-pointers in the opening 20 minutes.
• Sykes' 10 points led the Orange, while Butler, Taft and point guard Rachel Coffey all added nine each. The Tigers were led by 15 points each from Nikki Dixon and Nyilah Jamison-Myers.

LAST TIME VS. THE WOLFPACK
• Brianna Butler scored 17 points and hit a pair of key 3-pointers late, but it was not enough as No. 20/24 Syracuse lost its ACC opener 67-61 at NC State at Reynolds Coliseum on Jan. 5. The Orange and Wolfpack exchanged leads 14 times and were tied seven times.
• Kody Burke scored a game-high 19 points and Markeisha Gatling had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Wolfpack
• Butler's 17 points paced SU, while La'Shay Taft had 11 and Rachel Coffey and Brittney Sykes added nine points each.
