Track Heads to ECAC/IC4As

SYRACUSE, N.Y.—Members of the SU track and field team head to Princeton, N.J. for the annual ECAC/IC4A Championships. The meet begins on Friday, May 16 and concludes on Sunday, May 18 with the award presentations.
The meet is open to schools in New England and the Mid-Atlantic, north and inclusive of Maryland and Delaware, and is a team-scored event.
At the 2014 Indoor IC4A/ECAC Championships, Shaina Harrison won the 60-meter dash, the best finish for the Orange. Joseph Whelan had the best finish on the men's side, taking seventh in the 5,000-meter run.
Last year, Donald Pollitt won the men's 110-meter hurdles and Amadou Gueye came in second place in the same event. Jaquan Holland claimed fourth place in the men's 200-meter final.
This year's entries include:
100m – Sabrina Cammock, Shaina Harrison
200m – Jaquan Holland, Rebecca Robinson
1500m – Andrew Bennison, Joseph Kush
3,000m – Haley Cutright
3,000m Steeplechase – Joseph Whelan, Brenna Symoniak
10,000m – Kevyn Hoyos, Juris Silenieks, Alexandra Clinton
4x100m Relay – Cammock, Harrison, Ashley Keyes, Robinson
110m Hurdles – Freddie Crittenden, Amadou Gueye, Darren McCluskey, Donald Pollitt
Long Jump – Reggie Morton
Triple Jump – Regine Hunter
