
Women's Rowing Hosting Junior Day on June 20

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse women's rowing team will host its "Junior Day" on Friday, June 20. High school students interested in the Orange women's rowing program will get the opportunity to tour the athletic facilities, take a campus tour, view the indoor training facilities at Archbold Gymnasium and meet the Syracuse coaches and student-athletes at the James A. Ten Eyck Boathouse.
Those interested are asked to RSVP to assistant coach Alicea Kochis (amkochis@syr.edu) by Sunday, June 15. Parking and directions will be provided following RSVP.
Syracuse women's rowing has established itself as one of the sport's top programs in Justin Moore's four years as head coach, showing steady growth and development each season. The Orange is coming off its best season in years in 2014, claiming cup victories at the Orange Challenge Cup and Kittell Cup on its way to finishing third at the ACC Championship in its first season in what is one of the elite rowing conferences in the country. Syracuse was ranked in the top 20 nationally for the entire season, peaking at No. 16, its highest ranking in nine years.
