Seven Named to U.S. National Women's Lacrosse Team

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Seven either current or former members of the Syracuse women's lacrosse team have been named to the 2014-15 U.S. Women's National Team after a three-day tryout this past weekend at Georgetown. Rising junior Kayla Treanor and former Orange Becca Block '13, Liz Hogan '11, Kasey Mock '14, Alyssa Murray '14, Michelle Tumolo '13 and Katie Webster '14 are among the 38 players on the roster.
Syracuse's seven selections are tied for the second-highest total for any school in the national. North Carolina had eight current or former players selected while Maryland also had seven.
The team will next convene for a training weekend August 1-3 at Georgetown.
