Salazar, Knutson Represent Orange At All-American Championships

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Junior Valeria Salazar and freshman Gabriela Knutson will represent the Syracuse women's tennis team at the 2015 Riviera Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Women's All-American Championships at Pepperdine University starting on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Salazar will compete for the Orange in both the singles and doubles tournament. Starting with singles, Salazar is scheduled to take on Sarah Richter of Utah in the first round of the 64-player tournament. The complete bracket for the qualifying singles tournament can be accessed here.
Knutson and Salazar are among 32 teams in the qualifying doubles tournament. In the first round, Knutson and Salazar will play sisters Maiar Sherif Ahmed and Rana Sherif Ahmed of Fresno State. The complete bracket for the qualifying doubles tournament can be accessed here.
