Syracuse head football coach Scott Shafer is bringing 2007 Syracuse graduate Andrew Robinson back to the program as the director of football operations. During his undergraduate career, Robinson worked with the program as a student manager/undergraduate assistant as a freshman and was a student assistant coach for offense from 2005 through 2007.

"Drew has a passion to be back at his alma mater and working in our football program," said head coach Scott Shafer. "He brings a great work ethic. It is terrific to welcome back Drew Robinson."
Â
Robinson handled many roles at Rutgers, including as assistant athletic director for creative & fan experience since July 2014. He was responsible for the implementation of the digital and creative marketing plans while overseeing the creative services department. From 2012 to 2014, Robinson served as the director of branding & social media. In that role he was charged with maintaining the brand identity for the Rutgers football and men's and women's basketball teams.
Â
In October 2009, Robinson left college athletics to become the high school partnerships manager for MSG Varsity/Cablevision, Inc. He began as an outreach coordinator before being promoted to partnership manager in January 2010. As partnership manager, he managed relationships with 40 high schools in Cablevision's three million household footprint, while assisting in content creation and overall brand management of the network.

"It's very special to be returning to my alma mater as the director of football operations to work with a coach who has the integrity and passion that Coach Scott Shafer has shown," Robinson said. "My four years at Syracuse and with the Orange Football program laid the foundation for this opportunity. I am excited to be coming home."
