Women's Rowing up to #16 Nationally

Matches highest rank of the season
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's rowing team matched its highest appearance of the season in the most recent release of the CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll. Syracuse ranks No. 16 nationally, matching its ranking from two weeks ago.

Syracuse moved up one spot in the most recent coaches' poll, swapping spots with No. 17 UCLA. The Orange earned 132 votes, while the Bruins received 131 votes. The two schools matched up in the first session of the Clemson Invite on Saturday, April 18. Syracuse came out on top in the first varsity eight, first varsity four, and second varsity four competitions.

After defeating Northeastern for the Orange Challenge Cup on Tuesday afternoon in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Syracuse is heading down to the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. Competition begins Friday night at 6 p.m. and concludes with the finals on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Live coverage of the finals will be available on ESPN3.
