
Orange Women's Rowing Ranks #17 Nationally

Third straight appearance in the top 20
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's rowing team appears in the top 20 of the CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll for the third straight week. Syracuse ranks No. 17 in the country in the latest release of the coaches' rankings.

The Orange is the second-highest ranked Atlantic Coast Conference team headed into next weekend's conference championships. Virginia, the five-time defending conference champion, is ranked No. 2 nationally. Notre Dame ranks No. 19 in NCAA Division I women's rowing for the second consecutive week. Louisville is not ranked in the top 20, but received 17 votes in the latest rankings release.

The 2015 ACC Championship begin on Friday, May 15 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. Competition will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday night. The conference championships conclude on the morning of Saturday, May 16. Live coverage will begin at 8 a.m. on ESPN3.
