
Harrison Set to Compete in the Pan-Am Games

The rising senior is on Canada's 4x100-meter relay team
Syracuse rising senior Shaina Harrison will represent Canada in the 4x100-meter relay at the Pan-Am Games on Friday.
Harrison, who was the ACC runner-up in the 100-meter dash this spring and took fifth in the event at the Canadian National Championships, was selected as a member of the six-athlete pool in which the four participants are selected from for the events.
Harrison and her teammates will get action underway at 8 p.m. in one-of-two semifinals, with the top-eight teams moving on to Saturday's 7 p.m. final. The events will take place in Toronto, Ontario.
The Aurora, Ontario native is looking to pick up a medal for the Orange at the second-straight Pan-Am Games, following Justyn Knight's gold-medal performance in cross country at this fall's Pan-Am Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
