CLEMSON, S.C. – Two top 10 teams collide when No. 6 Syracuse visits No. 8 Clemson on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The game is a rematch of last year's College Cup semifinal.

ACC STANDINGS
Clemson (9-2-3, 3-1-2) is currently in third place in the ACC's Atlantic Division with 11 points, while the Orange (10-3-1, 3-2-1) are right behind with 10 points. Wake Forest and Louisville are tied for the top spot in the division with 13 points apiece. The top four seeds earn a first-round bye in the ACC Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

ORANGE VS. TIGERS 2015 REWIND
Syracuse and Clemson played three times last season. The first meeting took place the SU Soccer Stadium. The teams were tied at 0-0 heading into the final minute. A Syracuse turnover near midfield gave Clemson a break-away opportunity, which the Tigers converted to post a 1-0 victory.
The teams met again in the ACC Tournament semifinals at Riggs Field. Ben Polk scored a goal in each half to lead the Orange to a 2-0 victory. Syracuse would go on to claim its first ACC Tournament title. The College Cup semifinals was the stage for the third meeting between the Orange and Tigers. The game was decided by a penalty kick shootout, which Clemson won, 4-1, to advance to the national championship game.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Clemson defeated Brown, 3-2, last Sunday to snap a two-match winless streak. The Tigers are 9-2-3 overall and 3-1-2 in ACC action.

Diego Campos leads the Tigers' offense with 13 points on a team-best five goals and three assists. Oliver Shannon has recorded four assists, which rank first on the squad. Ximo Miralles has played the majority of minutes in goal for Clemson. He has a 0.71 goals-against average and a .820 save percentage.

THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Clemson, 3-1-1. The Orange have won both games against the Tigers played at Riggs Field.

UP NEXT…
Syracuse closes out the regular season on Friday, Oct. 28 against Wake Forest at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange's senior class will be honored in a pregame ceremony. Admission is free.
