Fifth consecutive year that the Orange will race at the regatta
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's rowing team heads to the Head of the Charles this weekend for its first official race of the autumn season. Racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday in Cambridge, Mass.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that the Orange will compete in the world's largest two-day regatta. Last season, Syracuse placed eighth in the championship eight event, its best showing at the Head of the Charles.
Head coach Justin Moore is sending out four boats at this year's regatta: championship double, championship four, club eight, and championship eight.
Following the Head of the Charles, Syracuse will conclude its fall campaign at Ohio State on Sunday, Nov. 6.
