SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 6 Syracuse faces its second consecutive top 10 opponent when it hosts No. 2 Wake Forest in the regular-season finale for both teams on Friday, Oct. 28 at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange's senior class will be honored in a ceremony prior to the 7 p.m. start. Admission to the game is free of charge.

ACC TOURNAMENT SEEDINGS ON THE LINE
Friday's match will have an effect for both teams in their seeding for the ACC Tournament, which begins next Wednesday. The Demon Deacons enter Friday's match with an overall record of 12-2-2 and are tied with Louisville for the top spot in the ACC Atlantic Division with a 5-1-1 record. The Orange are 10-3-2 overall and are in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with 11 points, just one point behind third-place Clemson. The Cardinals and Tigers also play Friday at 7 p.m. in Louisville.

Friday's match is the final regular-season home game for Syracuse's senior class. Oyvind Alseth, Liam Callahan, Sergio Camargo, Louis Cross, Kenny Lassiter, Chris Nanco and Oskar Sewerin will be honored in a pregame ceremony. This year's senior class has led the Orange to 52 victories, an ACC divisional title, an ACC Tournament title, three NCAA Tournament appearances, the program's first No. 1 ranking and first appearance in the College Cup.

SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS
Wake Forest is unbeaten in its last five matches and enters Friday's contest on a four-game winning streak. The Demon Deacons' 1-0 win over Boston College improved their record to 12-2-2 overall, 5-1-1 in the ACC.

Jacori Hayes leads Wake Forest in scoring with 12 points on a team-high five goals and two assists. Overall, nine different players have scored at least one goal this season. Alex Ferrell has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Demon Deacons. He has a 0.44 goals-against average and a .881 save percentage.

Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Syracuse, 3-1. The home team has prevailed in each of the previous four meetings.

The ACC Tournament kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at on-campus sites. The top four seeded teams earn a first-round bye. The complete pairings for this year's tournament will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 29 following the NC State – Boston College match.
