Syracuse closed its fall with its annual triathlon
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men's rowing team concluded its autumn campaign on Saturday morning with its annual triathlon. The event consists of a 7,500-meter row on the ergometer, 2.5-mile run, and full tour of the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse annually closes its fall season with its triathlon, a tradition that head coach Dave Reischman started in 2003.

Sophomore Brandon Bielinski and senior Andrew Reichard were the team's top-two finishers. In addition, both cracked the program's all-time top-10 list for the full triathlon. Bielinski moved into the top 10 in the 2.5-mile run and Carrier Dome portions. Reichard and freshman Andrew Cummings also posted two of the top times in triathlon history in the Loud House.
Junior Noah Messner posted the best ergometer split in the event's history. Sophomore Nick Tavares joined Messner in the top 10 for the ergometer portion, as well.
The Orange open their spring season on Saturday, April 8 against Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC)-foe Wisconsin. Racing will take place in Skokie, Ill.
