Majorana Earns ACC Honor

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse senior Halle Majorana has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Women's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Player of the Week for her performance in Syracuse's win against No. 5 Northwestern on Sunday in the Carrier Dome.
Majorana led the Orange with seven points against the Wildcats on three goals and four assists, which tie her career high,. She tallied the first two goals of the game and her third goal broke an 8-8 tie and sparked Syracuse on a 5-0 scoring run on its way to a 16-12 victory. Majorana leads the team in goals with 14 and is tied for the top spot in scoring with 23 points.
Syracuse goes on the road for the first time on Saturday, March 5 for its ACC opener at No. 7/7 Virginia at 1 p.m.
